Access Information
Mobility Access
The main visitor entrance at the North Door is accessible for wheelchair users via a small ramp. Much of the Abbey floor is level, but some chapels and the Cloisters have steps. Staff can guide you along step-free routes. Accessible toilets are located in the Cloisters.
Visually Impaired Visitors
The included multimedia guide has an audio-described tour. Touch tours can sometimes be arranged in advance through the Abbey's access office.
Hearing Impaired Visitors
The Abbey is equipped with a hearing loop system that covers the main building and is used during all services. A British Sign Language version of the multimedia tour is also available.
